Josef Werner
Josef Werner was born in Kraslice ( Czech Republic ) in 1945. He took his Higher School certificate in Prague, and in 1968 he emigrated to Germany. From 1970-75 he studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich with Professor K.F. Dahmen, and since then has been a freelance painter, printmaker and sculptor. From 1979-86 he had a print workshop in New York. He lives and works in Prien, Germany. His works are to be found in many public and private collections.
